Jürgen Weidinger is head of Chair for Landscape Architecture at Technische Universität Berlin, since 2009. His teaching covers design theories, methods, and studio work. His research interests are theories of atmosphere and aesthetics in landscape architecture. He is participating in design-based research, for example PEP doctorate program in landscape architecture and architecture at the TU Berlin. He is the founder and director of Weidinger Landschaftsarchitekten based in Berlin, specialising in urban parks, squares, streets and open spaces interlinked with architecture in the sectors culture, education and corporate.
