ATSITE is a landscape architect’s office that works to ensure that urban and rural spaces are alive, enriching and engaging, and forge strong ties between people, places and nature. We create sensual and poetic landscapes that budge something in us.

Our AIM is to design outdoor spaces and structures where we can develop a curiosity and learn from nature.

Our FOCUS is on humans and their relationship with their surroundings.

We create spaces that invite to everyday adventures, movement and informal meetings with people of all ages and phases in their lives, a diversity that involves and enriches with dynamics and sensuality.

We believe in a sustainable development, especially in an urban context, where the processes of nature help us deal with the challenges we are facing right now and in the future. We are convinced that by designing surroundings that are adapted to a changing climate with blue, green, healthy, active and social qualities, we create places where people will want to live.

A characteristic of the office’s METHOD is an empathy with the site’s context, history, potential and needs of people, where local elements or structures can inspire and be used in the design. This can be an orientation in the landscape, a part of cultural history or another form of characteristic that can guide us or become conceptual elements in an overall approach. Using this type of approach, the concept of the project can be closely intertwined with the place, by reinforcing and making visible its identity and qualities.

We CREATE urban and rural spaces with architectural values through close collaboration with customers, other disciplines and the communities. This is how we ensure projects that are site-specific and beautiful, and at the same time fulfil functional requirements.
