The FLEXX Collection by Maglin Site Furniture approaches space-making through light, pattern, and permeability. Using sculptural laser-cut steel panels, the collection frames outdoor environments with varying degrees of openness, privacy, and visual texture.
Fabricated from laser-cut mild steel, FLEXX panels are available in five distinct patterns — Fusion, Interlock, Kaleidoscope, Matrix, and Summit — each creating its own interplay of light, shadow, and visual texture. The choice of pattern shapes not only the aesthetic character of a space, but also how it is experienced throughout the day.
For projects requiring a more site-specific response, FLEXX is also available with fully custom laser-cut patterns. Maglin’s in-house engineering team collaborates directly with landscape architects and designers to translate concepts, motifs, and contextual references into production-ready panel designs. The result is a site element that responds directly to its surrounding landscape and architecture.
What makes FLEXX particularly compelling as a design tool is its flexibility in configuration and scale. Three panel sizes can be connected at 90° or 135° angles, allowing designers to compose enclosures that feel genuinely tailored — mixing sizes to create rhythm and hierarchy, or turning a corner to transform a linear screen into an immersive nook. Gated options combine site security with an external lockable entry and exit point, a practical detail that earns its place on rooftop amenity spaces and restaurant patios alike.
As light moves through the cut steel patterns, FLEXX casts shifting geometries across the ground plane, giving installations a dynamic quality that changes throughout the day. An extensive powdercoat palette, available in gloss and fine-textured finishes, further expands the collection’s architectural range — from understated neutrals and metallics to more expressive accent colours.
Designers can configure, price, and share FLEXX projects in 3D using the Maglin Product Builder, or work directly with the Maglin team to develop a custom panel project at maglin.com.
