In the 9th edition of the Dezeen Awards, projects are judged against three criteria — beauty, innovation and benefit to both people and the environment. Projects are selected by an international panel of leading figures from the architecture and design world. The jury met in September to discuss the highest-scoring entries and determine winners, who will be announced in November.

In the category Landscape and Urban Design, eight projects have been shortlisted:

– Cycling Between Terrils, Belgium by BuroLandschap.

– Parque del Jaguar in Mexico by Colectivo C733.

– Shipyard 1914 Heritage Park (Phase 1) in China by DDON Planning & Design.

– Jonas Amsterdam in Netherlands by Felixx Landscape Architects.

– Presidio Tunnel Tops in San Francisco, USA by Field Operations.

– Shenzhen Guangming Science Park in China by Guangzhou SPI Design.

– Panlong Tiandi in China by Sasaki.

– Olive Leaf in Iran by ZAV Architects.

You can also cast a Public Vote. We congratulate the colleagues and look forward to the results.
