NIPPAYSAGE: A LEED landscape project proposed for the public plaza of the CHUM research center which includes an adventure playground for on-call daycare service. The concept is to plant densely in order to amplify volume through a thick plantation of trees and ground covers within a controlled framework. The adventure playground is inserted within the heavily planted zone. The purpose for the program is to create a diverse landscape that will reduce the heat island effect and increase biodiversity.
