dataAE: The project is structured through three main strategies: 1st. Focusing on boosting the high landscape value of the existing forest by reconfiguring its shape to be in contrast with the open-plan space of the central area. The created contrast between empty and full facilitates working on a particular situation system for every landscape. 2nd. Create a road system to allow urban connectivity at horizontal level, as well as covering the whole park at vertical level. These itineraries are complemented by a system of platform activities for every relevant purpose: children’s games, groups of benches to rest, sport facilities, coarse sand surface and dunes placed freely around the open space of the large central area. The highest area of the park includes a concave-shaped square with a fountain for children to interact with water, next to a theatre facing the emptiness of the park, which utilizes the existing topographic unevenness. 3rd. With regard to materials, the project is built almost entirely with a single element, a precast concrete product which holds multiple uses as pavement, containment, indicator or step for the park.
