8 August / AJLA Submissions: Learning Through Landscapes

News

The African Journal of Landscape Architecture (AJLA), the official journal of IFLA Africa, is seeking submissions for its 12th issue, titled Learning Through Landscapes.

The issue looks at how academia and practice, across African geographies and cultures, shape the field of landscape architecture. At its centre is the figure of the teacher-practitioner: someone who moves between theoretical inquiry and real-world application, in a process where practice and theory continuously inform each other. The issue also recognises natural processes and indigenous knowledge systems as essential foundations for landscape design.
