31 January / ECLAS Call for Abstracts: Planetary Landscape Architecture

News

The ECLAS 2026 Conference, titled TAKE CARE – Planetary Landscape Architecture, will take place from 16–19 September 2026 at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment (A+BE), TU Delft, the Netherlands.

Theme

This edition calls for landscape architecture to be understood as a practice of care, extending beyond spatial design to address planetary, ecological and social urgencies. It foregrounds responsibility, attentiveness, and action at all scales — global, regional, local, and microbial.

The conference invites contributions across five interconnected tracks:

– Reframing Our Worldviews
– Design Methods and Tools
– Engaging Diverse Voices
– Urgent Transitions
– Transformative Education

Both traditional paper presentations and alternative formats (e.g. visual essays) are encouraged, contributing to a programme structured around a Dissemination Day and an Exchange Day.
