31 August / Submission for log 68: Gardens

News —

Log, the journal of architecture and observation published by Anyone Corporation, is accepting submissions for its 68th issue, themed Gardens, due out in Fall 2026. The submission deadline is 31 August 2026 at 11:59 PM.

While humans occupy many different dwellings and territories, all of these share a single site: the Earth. Log 68 takes this premise as its starting point, considering the garden not only as a method of sustaining cities but as a planetary act. The issue asks what the garden, as a concept and material practice, means for architecture and for the planet today.

The journal accepts essays, brief observations, drawings, and photographs. Observations are short pieces of 100 to 300 words accompanied by an image; longer essays should not exceed 5,000 words. The suggested submission length for this issue is between 200 and 4,000 words. A prompt for the issue is available for download on the journal’s website.

Log pays a modest honorarium. Full guidelines and the issue prompt at anycorp.com/submissions
